The Thailand Tigers hosted the Malaysian Warriors in the first international of 2007. The Tigers were keen to avenge their loss to Malaysia in the Asian Champs and knew better than to take them lightly.
The first two quarters were a tough affair, with the Malaysian Warriors coming out hard and the Tigers showing signs of their limited preparation through a high error rate.
Things came together for the Tigers in third quarter as the Malaysian Warriors succumber to the pressure of a small bench and several injuries. In the end, the Thailand Tigers won by a comfortable 10 goals, but a lot more work has to be done before our next international against Bali at Kanchanaburi on April.
